Question - (14 June 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 16 June 2009)
A female United States age 30-35, *itty_3 writes:

can anyone help me interpret this dream? i feel like it's really important

background:

my friend who's graduating a year earlier than me and going to college and i had a fight which caused us to stop talking. we haven't talked for a year. we're not particularly hostile; we just avoid eachother or ignore eachother.

the dream:

she was staying in my family's guest room for the year, which was awkward for obvious reasons. ne day, i felt like something in the house was different and i'd heard rumors that she left, so i went over to the guest room. first i found a ring on the floor (i put it on); i fugured that maybe it was hers.

then, i went into the guestroom and it was empty. all the bedding, pillows, etc. that she'd brought were still there, but she was obviously gone. i suddenly felt really sad and went to lie down on the bed to see if it still smellt like her.

then, i went to school and one of my friend's said "she's gone. i thought you knew" (which made me even more sad) to which i replied "we weren't friends anymore."

in reality, she's not staying at my house, nor has she left yet.

what does this mean? i feel like it's trying to tell me something.
