Dramas with thieving ex boyfriend and his parents threaten me!

can anyone help my fella has stolen all my jewellery, he has admitted to it to me, but lied about where it is, i have been to the place with police. we are not in contact anymore, i have a phone number i beleive is the man he sold it too in the pub, i have proof of my rings box in his bag.i beleive it was a certain date this happened when i was out the house and he let himself in with a spare key that was my daughters. we did not live together. what a mess now his parent are threatening to take me to court over his stuff, i left his stuff outside my house and asked them to get it as i no longer want anything to do with them all. where do i go from here, im all anxious and upset about the whole drama. can anyone give me some ideas what to do please.
