reader, anonymous, writes (12 July 2007): your body certainly does know when you are exercising, thats why during it your heart rate and breathing rate will increase and simple things like feeling warm and sweating starts to happen. all these thing are just your body reacting to exercise. As for your second question i'm a liitle lost on what you mean, but yes your body will know it's exercised mainly due to different chemicals release in your body during and after exercise, this is why people get the high effect after a work out. best advice for getting fit is remember fitness is just your body adapting to exercise so keep it guessing mix up your routine every 4-6 weeks, try something new or you haven't done for a while.
