A male Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Well theres a girl who ive been really really good friends with for years....we got so close we started calling each other brother and sister two years ago because we didnt really think about each other in that way... but on Australia Day this year my friends began to tell me how she had been telling them she had a huge feelings for me...even when we went to dinner with my cousin and left to go help out her husband, she apparently told my cousin she really liked me....

however whenever anyone suggests that we go out, she says..."Ah...ah...well....you're my brother...it would be incest!!!"....lol funny, but something along those lines....

Does she...like...me?

She's kind of giving me mixed messages...lol...

TimmD agony auntIt's difficult to tell. You are just going by what other people are saying.

If you are THAT close to her, why don't you just ask her? It doesn't have to be uncomfortably putting her on the spot or anything, but just tell her you've been thinking about having a relationship with her that is more than just friendship and ask her how she feels about that.

princessofGod43 agony auntHoney save your time...just ask her straight out because time is on no ones side...you could be missing out on a great love or passing others up...do yourself and her a favor and just ask...what if you are wasting time...and she really wants you to ask...and then someone with more aggression comes along and swipes her out from under you...if your friendship is strong and you do it right in asking the question nothing will be damaged (meaning your current relationship with her.
