reader, anonymous, writes (16 April 2007): I've been in a similar situation before. It was my first time with a woman and I was very nervous about commiting fully. I was afraid to leave my fiance as he used to hit me. Eventually though I did and commited myself to my girlfriend. Maybe this girl wants to but is afraid to commit herself fully. She may be afraid of her boyfriend and of her families reaction. My advice is talk to her about it then take a step back and let her come to you when she's ready. If she doesn't then unfortunately you will have to move on. Hope this helps! xx
