Does my husband's odd behaviour mean he's cheating or am I being paranoid?

A age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Is my husband cheating? I woke up this morning to him throwing on clothes in a hurry. I asked him what he was doing. He at first didn't reply and then said he was going to the grocery store and would be back in an hour. Before I could even get out of bed he was pulling out of the driveway.

I texted him asking what was going on and he won't reply to any of my texts. I don't understand what the heck this was? Who runs to the grocery store like that? We don't need any groceries! We have a fully stocked refrigerator.

Can anyone explain this behavior? He was out the door in under two minutes from the time I woke up to him pulling on pants and shirt and the car starting out.

Am I being paranoid?

It's hard to say what is happening but, I hope he's not cheating on you sweetie. My ex cheated on me and this behaviour sounds way to similar to what I put up with. I really hope it was sale on roses in his defense.

Goodluck and take care Bella :)

I confronted him when he got home. He pulled out a dozen roses and 2 boxes of chocolates. Turns out he went to get discount valentines day things and didn't want me going with him. Which is why he left so fast. Still a pretty weird way to go about it. So I was being paranoid :)

Bizarre. He clearly has forgotten to do something.. or he was meant to be somewhere and forgot all about it. Have you asked him any more questions? Is he back now? What has happened since? I have a story about something similar which happened to me and my ex jumped out of bed to get groceries when he had hours before the supermarket would be closing, and when he came back I found strange stuff, tis a bit of a saga. But will write more later.

I wouldn't assume cheating. I did because he had talked about another woman the night before when he was drunk... but I still never found out. But never assume...

It's not necessarily cheating, but it is suspicious. Please let us know if you find out the reason why this happened.

No you're not being paranoid, you should demand answers and pay attention to the way he answers.

His behavior doesn't necessarily imply he's cheating either.

I don't know about cheating, but that's definitely suspicious behavior. Anything is possible at this point, and it does sound as though he's hiding something.

Keep your eyes open, and best of luck.
