writes: How can u tell if your boyfriend is gay? Umm all my friends think he's gay, although i thought he was just camp but its making me wonder, so can anyone tell me? I know it's stupid and he's probably not but i have to know. I already asked him but he says he's not, i think i believe him and i want to but all this influence from my friends is making me wonder. Just found out he is gay!!!! he cheated on me with a man..
he has admitted everything, also admitted he is gay....
he has been fighting it all his life!!!!

If you put so much stake in what your friends think of your every move, then why not just stay at home twiddling your thumbs and eating chocolates, and let your friends find A Perfect Man for you?

Hon, I've dated guys who came out as gay later, (three guys, actually) and it really isn't a big deal. Maybe your guy isn't sure about his sexuality yet, or maybe he's as straight as a line, but just has a campy side to his nature. It's really not that important. Enjoy his company, and if he treats you well and makes you happy, then don't worry about what your friends say.
From the tone of what you've written, you sound a bit young anyway, so it's unlikely that this guy is going to be your husband in the near future. So why not just treat going out with him as a bit of harmless fun, regardless? If he's a nice man, and if he happens to realise that he's gay or bi sometime down the track then he'll surely tell you. (If he's not a nice man, and wouldn't tell you, then you wouldn't be going out with him, I hope!) And, as another answer said, unless you're sleeping with him, it really isn't an issue. He has denied being gay, so take him at his word for now.
Just be confident enough to lead your own life and feel free to make your own mistakes.

 If he was gay then why would he be dating you? Maybe to cover up his real sexual preferences? Some men have a feminine side to them hence the camp behaviour but you cant go by that.Anyway,if you are happy together then why should you listen to what your friends say?
