writes: ive been with my boyfriend for over a year now and ever since we been together, whenever he sees his ex gf walkin around the neighboorhood or notices her car around the city, he always tells me "there goes your bestfriend" , and its like he notices her before anybody does and makes it a joke everytime and he stares at her when she walks by his house too. (did i forget to mention that his ex gf lives a few houses dwn from him)? what does this mean? does he miss her?

bey0nbeauty is verified as being by the original poster of the questionyour right! im juss over exagerating. thank you for helping me realize. but even if he doesnt miss her and making a witty joke like that.. why should he care about "his ex gf being across the street" and pointing her out all the time. "why does it seem like hes always wondering what shes doing?" .. ..

reader, anonymous, writes (18 July 2010): I doubt he misses her to be honest. Him saying 'there's your best friend' is his idea of a joke. Not particularly a funny one, but he's being sarcastic as well as making a witty joke. Better than saying.. there's my old girlfriend, looking alright isn't she? I wonder what she's doing, etc, etc.
Unless he talks about her all the time or you catch him talking to her yourself/texting or having any sort of contact with her then you've got nothing to worry about. I'm sure he loves you now, as he's been with you for over a year. If he wanted her/missed her, wouldn't he have tried getting back with her sooner?
