writes:well i have known this guy for about a year now and he comes to visit my brother in law and sister, and he knows i like him, i told him myself. we stayed up one time talking til like 5 am and we started talking about me liking him and he told me if he did not like me he would not be sitting there talking to him, so i asked why he liked me and he said i was down to earth, beautiful, i listened to him and i did not try to change him and so i asked him how he liked me and kissed me. he left the next day and i gave him my number and he added me on myspace but he never replies to my messages he reads them, i know he cant text me right now he dont have minutes. so did he just want sex or does he really like me? should i keep up hope or give up? am i wasting my time trying to talk to him? what should i do? i even told him that i did not want to have sex before anything ever happened

reader, anonymous, writes (30 September 2010): He only likes you as much as what he's shown you thus far. Don't message him for a few days and see if he calls you or texts. It could be that he just likes to text before any other means of communication and he can't if he's out of minutes. Let him make the next move now. It's a good sign that he never tried to have sex. Now he just needs to communicate a bit better before you can trust him too much.
