My Dad use to tell me "Your teen years are your best years of your life!"
I had acne, I was overweight, never had a girlfriend, was getting pushed around and it was supposed to be the best years of my life! Was I ever looking forward to what was coming next!
With time, comes experience and through experience, comes confidence. I found out that self-growth books can take someone's experience and add it to your own which help fasten the process of confidence.
That's my story though, and it did work for me.
Here are a few books that would be a nice start:
1.SUCCESS for Teens by "Editors of the SUCCESS Foundation" (search for it, they have a website)
2.Personality Plus by Florence Littauer
If you want more suggestions, I have more but these are awesome.

When I was your age I felt the same. I had frizzy hair, thick glasses, braces and a big nose. In fact the neighborhood boys called me tooty fat nose. As I got older I got the braces off, got contacts, learned how to style my hair but I still always felt ugly. Even when people would tell me I was pretty I'd think they were trying to make fun of me. It wasn't until I moved away to college that I really started to believe it. Guys would ask me out all the time. People would ask me for make up tips, fashion advice, the name of my hair dresser. That's when I realized everyone has some insecurity with the way they look. At one point I even went to a plastic surgeon to ask about a nose job. He said there wasn't much he could do for my nose as there weren't any mishappings to it. Later when I would tell people about the plastic surgery incident they would look at me like I was crazy. No one thought I had a big nose except me and those stupid neighborhood boys. My advice to you is to find things you love about yourself and focus on those. Everytime I'm feeling down because my bestfriends are zeros and I'm a 6 I look in the mirror and list all the things I love about myself I have really blue eyes, my teeth are straight and white, my hair is thick and I can wear it straight or curly, I'm outgoing, smart and funny. Try it.Elenore Roosevelt said : "No one can make you feel inferrior without your consent"
