I went to the hospital two days ago because was having a cramp on my left side for ten minutes straight and had a light to medium brown discharge. They told me that I will miscarry and that when they did an ultrasound, they didn't hear a heartbeat. This is my first pregnancy. I haven't had any more bleeding or cramps, my boobs were still sore and my ankles hurt. My question is do you think i have a chance to carry my baby full term if the doctors told me it was a miscarry? Do you think Is it possible i still have a chance?i just want others input or other experiences if they had any.

I think you need to go to an OBGYN immediately. This story doesn't sound right because if you were destined to miscarry the doctors would have caused an early labor/ abortion to terminate the pregnancy because it is safer to do it in the hospital than wait for you to do it alone because there is a chance of complications that result in either you not being able to have another baby or death from blood loss. All doctors would avoid that by helping to terminate the pregnancy. Go to the OBGYN get an emergency visit so they see you tomorrow and find out what is going on. It might be as simple as needing prolonged bed rest, but I am telling you something doesn't sound right.
