He saw me smiling and looking at him, and he smiled back at me and said, 'Hi', looked at me for another second or so, before following his friends to wherever they were walking. I met him for the second time less than a week ago.Every Saturday most of the teenagers in our area meet up and hang around on a green in town. The people he was with are good friends of mine, so I basically hung around with him the whole day too. He was really fidgety and nervous (I asked around, and the people we were with just say he's shy) and I kept feeling he was looking at me, and everytime I looked over to him, I caught his head moving sharply in the opposite direction. He didn't say much, but he responded when I spoke to him, and I noticed him smiling a lot at me, even if I wasn't doing anything. A few times when I needed a helping hand to carry something or hold something, he offered without hesitation. Eventually I left to go hang around with my friends, who he isn't familiar with/doesn't like, but he came with me anyway. I noticed whenever we were stood in a big group, if he was stood next to me, his shoulders were pointing in my direction. I'm not sure if that was because he didn't like/know anybody else in the group, or something else. And if he wasn't stood next to me, his feet were pointing directly at me.It was like every where I went, he went. Towards the end of the day, he overheard me telling one of my friends that I didn't have anybody to take the bus home with, because nobody I'm friends with lives close enough to me. He asked me where I lived, and he lives pretty close to me, so he offered to take the bus with me. We left, and waited for the bus together, with two of our other friends who decided they'd go back to my house with me. We all made idle conversation, but he kept asking questions about myself, trying to act casual. He asked what music I liked, what my favourite colour was, what my address was, and if I went to the green every Saturday. When we got onto the bus, he sat across from me. There was a pole there, that he rested his feet on. I rested my feet on it too, making sure my feet didn't touch or press against his, but then he moved his foot so they were almost exactly flushed together. The whole journey, I could feel him staring at me, and the person I was sat next to noticed it as well, because they whispered in my ear, 'I think he likes you'. Then I moved a few seats in front of the others so I could play music on my phone, and a few minutes later, he joined me. He didn't say anything, just looked out of the window. Then we all got off the bus, and the whole walk back, he didn't say a word, until we got to his house, but that was only goodbyes to the rest of us. I don't know why my friend did so, but they shouted out to him, '[my name here] likes you'. At that point, I laughed, and said, 'Nah, he's joking, I don't'. Even though I did.I didn't see him for two days after that, bringing me to today. I went out after school with the group of friends he and I are both friends with. He was just about to go home as I arrived. I was led on the grass, propping myself up on my elbows, and he knelt down, hugged me, and said 'Bye'. I asked him where he was going so soon, and he told me he had to go home. He lingered for a bit, our faces a few inches apart, but then he got up, waved, and left. All of that, and the gut feeling he does like me. Do you think he does?
