reader, anonymous, writes (19 May 2008): yes it is possible to have a yeast infection in your mouth and it will cause soar throat. chlymadia can also give you an infection in your throat. both are forms of bacteria and yeast and you might need an oral antibiotic such amoxycillin. please go to doctor if untreated it can affect your tonsils......healthcare field profesiional
