Women generally like men who are confident and take care of their hygiene (ie. No funny smells, clean hair/clean clothes etc.) body size is not a big issue. I am attracted to muscular tall guys at first glance, but I have dated overweight short guys too. The only thing they had in common was they were confident (didn't care what others thought of them), funny and they bathed!!!

As long as a guy is weighted in reasonable proportion, I think that most women consider brawn the least. Most women do seem to be more attracted to facial good looks, personality, sense of humor and confidence in a man.

See the downside to trying to fit into a body you don't really have/like yourself is that you can't keep it up forever. There will come a day when you will feel like just being yourself again, and there will be a day when you're older, and things simply wont keep in place. Being with someone who loves you for you would be great then, and not being with someone who loves a certain body type.
And to answer your question: there's a woman for each body type out there. We all like different things, I guess it depends on the individual.

Come on anon...build your confidence first before you build or unbuild your body. You cannot and will not find peace with others until you first find peace with yourself. When you look in the mirror embrace the fact that you are a good guy, period. Who cares what a woman wants...she may be attracted to you first based on appearances, but trust me that will fade if you are insecure and lack confidence. Ourwardly beauty fades over time...but confidence, a sense of humor and the ability to laugh....those are very attractive qualities.

But they shouldn't really be bothered by it to much if they do like the skinnier types, it should be your personality they go for. and if they do prefer muscular men, a plus for you. whichever way it is shouldn't matter much to the women.

My latest bf is 12st and i love his laid back attitude and kindness. Both lovely men in different ways. It has nothing to do with weight or muscles.
