writes:I have been seeing my boyfriend for almost 9 months now and things are going well. I also am still friends with my ex and hear from him probably once a fortnight or so and we occasionally meet up to go to a gig. My question is that my boyfriend doesnt know that I am still friends with my ex and I dont know whether to tell him or not, or how to tell him. He has never asked anything about my past relationships. I dont want him to find out and feel like ive been hiding things from him, but i also dont want to tell him and cause him to worry/jealous when there is nothing to worry about. One of my male colleagues told me not to tell him as men get jealous - so really i dont quite know what to do.

If he is a man, then he would not let you two hang out. Whenever I'm around ex girlfriends there is always that sexual tension and it's not just me, it's everybody! I don't even know you and I don't like you hanging out with your ex.

 Honestly, he probably wouldnt mind, unless you had sexual relations with this ex. Thats a whole different story.
