If he's got a will saying it goes to his kids then it will go to his kids.

You need to talk to him and see what he wants to do for you, and what you want to do for him.

If you are worried then why not take out a life insurance policy for each other? That way you will both be ok no matter what happens to the other.

I think the main thing you have to worry about is your business. What happens to his half if he gets hit by a bus?

You are in charge of looking after yourself in your old age. You can't depend on a man to look after you in this day and age. So make sure you get to keep your own business and the same for him. After that it's up to you to get on and get your personal pension sorted out.

Good Luck!! xx
