Ive become pretty obsessed with a diet. Im eating fruit and cereal. have been doing since monday but today i had 4 rich tea buiscuits (25%lower fat) at 36 calories each 0.9g fat for one. and i had an apple bake go ahead bar 2.5g fat. I just tried to make myself sick because i regretted eating it. I dont want to eat fatty foods. I want to loose weight. Help.. did i do really bad by eating the light buiscuits and go ahead bar?

As the others have answered, it sounds like you got an eating disorder. We can't you with that over the net other then maybe being another person who tells you that you need help to get over this, maybe one of us will get through before it is too late.

I really don't think we can reach you, but Bulimia/Anorexia Nervosa is a very serious problem and it sounds like you got it or are in the early stages of it.

The fact that you describe your calorie intake, which is WAY to low unless you are a hamster, so precisly and then on make yourselve sick because you consumed 6.5 grams of fat, that is wrong.

To give you an idea, if you are female, 16 years old, 1.50 meters and life a sedentary life, basically the LOWEST in take of fat for a human being is 45 grams.

Girl, you are starving yourselve with what you ate and then you throw up?

Throwing up itself is bad as well and will really ruin your health.

I don't know how long this has been going on but it really needs to stop. It is sickening that the google ad right above your post is for loosing weight, the pressure especially on women can be enormous and a great many loose control over themselves and become very sick.

This is NOT a problem you can underestimate, people die CONSTANTLY from this. Aneroxia nervosa has an 18% death rate. There are cancers you have a better chance of surving.

HOPEFULLY it is not to late, that you ask for advice is a good sign but do NOT underestimate that you got a problem. Even if I am overreacting, this is to serious to risk. Get help, a real doctor can properly diagnose you and help you. If nothing else, a doctor can properly advice you on what is a healthy diet for you.

I am sorry if I got it completly wrong, but I don't think I am. You had a panick attack over less then 10 grams of fat, today you tried to throw up, what happens tomorrow? Stop it before it is too late because a year down the road you won't be able to anymore.

Dawnie agony auntYou need to eat heathily in order to lose weight, cereal for breakfast with semi or skimmed milk, cut down on sugar where possible, a light lunch, like salad with a Jacket Potato and in the evening you could have fish or chicken (grilled) with vegetables. Also drink plenty of water as this helps clear out toxins. Eating plenty of fruit and vegetables will give you a boost. Please don't make yourself vomit as this will cause no end of health problems and could lead to bulimia. Cut out biscuits, chocs and sweets. If you like crisps have a low fat variety. Combine eating healthily with exercise and you will see results. Go to your GP for a diet sheet, they will be helpful alternatively you could try a slimming club. Weight Watchers is a well recommended one. Please take care of your health, if you follow a well balanced diet you will lose weight.

I am more concerned with your poor diet and making yourself sick to rid what you just ate. You are heading into dangerous territory. A person who makes themselves throw up is a bullemic, this condition will kill you if it grabs ahold of you. People are creatures of habit, this will become a very dangerous habit if you don't stop it right now!

The reason you sort of had a binge of eating sweets, is that your body is starving, your body is taking over and telling your brain to stop killing me, I am starving, I am hungry, give me something good to eat!

You cannot live on fruit and cereal, if you try to lose weight in this starvation mode, not only will you lose body fat, your body will actually start feeding off your muscles in order to get food for energy, you are literally damaging your body by trying to fast to lose weight.

The best and healthiest way to lose weight is to eat a balanced diet, and fats, good fats are part of that..as are fruit vegetable, grains, and dairy and meat.

Limit your calorie intake to around 1300 calories a day, there is a web site that can help you keep track of your calorie intake for free.....caloriefreak.com, and then you would be best to add an excercise regimine instead of diet alone, so you can build muscle. Muscle burns more calories than fat, so the better shape you are in, your body will naturally burn more calories from the food you eat so you do not need to starve yourself to lose weight. It is simple math.

Stop doing this to yourself, it is crazy!

enno agony auntwow..sounds like your going down the road to being an anorexic..thats a seriouse mental illness that can lead to death!

if you really wanna lose weight go to your docter, and he/she will find the right diet for you...the way your going about it will change nothing. Not only do you need to change your eating habbits but you need to exercise to burn off what you eat...the best excercise for that is jogging and sprints!!
