Hi, i wanted to add a few things, that i forgot to mention within my prior msg.You may not bleed now, after you have actual sex, because if it is, that you did rupture your hymen whilst fingering yourself, then you're unlikely to bleed again, even upon first time sexual intercourse with your prospective partner. Then again, you may still bleed a little, but you'll only know when the time comes. If you do bleed again, you should visit your Dr, just to rule out anything more serious. Also, many women lose their virginity in different ways, even prior to having full penatrative sex with their male partner and this too, is normal. As the previous reader stated, many women won't bleed the first time they have sexual intercourse, however, many will/do.From my knowledge as a nurse, i would say that more women do, than don't.

You haven't lost your virginity, because you still haven't had sex with another person.
Your hymen, however, may no longer be intact, in which case you would be unlikely to bleed (again) during first-time sex. Note that many women do not bleed at all during their first time having sex because other activities such as intense exercise or horseback riding may tear the hymen prior to first intercourse.
Hope this helps clear things up. Best wishes!

Hi,from what you have just described, you may have ruptured your hymen, which is a very thin membrane covering your vagina, that prior to full penatrative sexual intercourse, usually remains intact, unless of course, something foreign has been placed deep inside your vagina.I would encourage you to visit your family GP/Dr as soon as possible though, just incase it is something more serious.Sudden bleeding from any bodily orifice, sometimes implys illness, or something potentially risky, to our overall health.I am a nurse by trade, however, as i cannot physically examine you, it is very hard for me to say exactly why you bled.In most cases, nurses wouldn't examine you anyway. This would be done by a doctor. The bleeding shouldn't be very heavy, moreso lighter, if it is only the breaking of the hymen that actually occurred.Sometimes it can be a heavier flow, or a spotting type flow, but generally a lighter bleed and the blood isn't usually deep red, as in a heavy menstrual flow.It is lighter red in colour, sometimes, even like a pinky red hue.As far as losing your virginity is concerned, some may say yes, you did lose your virginity, whilst others many say no, you didn't, because you've yet to have, full penatrative sexual intercourse.Technically and medically speaking, i would say yes, you have broken your hymen and if that implys losing your virginity, then that is what has happened.Whichever way you look at it, whether it be by full sexual penatration, or by way of fingering yourself and then bleeding afterward, this would still imply one form of losing your virginity, but then again, many would say, from a moral standpoint, that you didn't lose your virginity, because there was no sex involved. At the end of the day, it matters not what others think and/or say, but what your conclusion is and how you feel about it.It's a very personal experience and situation for you.You are 18, you are human, you have needs, desires, urges and you didn't do anything wrong, you were simply exploring your own body and you're obviously comfortable with that, so try not to worry too much about it and about what happened, as hard and as confusing, as it may be for you.The fact is, you cannot change what has occurred, so you must learn to accept and deal with it, in the best way that you can. This may take much time for you to process, but know that you did absolutely nothing wrong. All the best and again, please visit your Dr, just to be sure that all is ok. :-)
