I've barely have talked to him before but I still think he is a nice guy. Since he has been showing flirty gestures people think he likes me. Since I think he likes me, he likes to touch me alot. Ect, Stroke my hair, touch my waist, put his arm around my shoulder, and hug me.. One time when he hugged me really tight, I think he got an erection because I felt it go up a little. Do you think that happened because he likes me?

During the early stages of puberty, it can happen completely randomly and without a reason. However there is good news! The fact that he flirts with you a lot and is very touchy is a strong sign that he may have a thing for you! Most people as a general instinct want to be as close as possible to someone they like and touching the way you described is a great way to do that. I hope everything works out for you!

reader, anonymous, writes (28 February 2008): While i wouldn't say getting an erection is a sign that he likes you, i would say that all the other things you said he does, points to yes.He could have gotten an erection randomly, or because he is physically attracted to you, or you could have been wrong in when you think you felt it, lol. Or he could have been thinking about something else entirely.But all the other stuff you said makes me think that he likes you.
