I got expelled from my school so i dont get see them that much. I talk to both of them every night. I have a lot in common with my best friend and my girlfriend. me and my best friend know almost everything about eachother because we known eachother for almost 2 years and we hide nothing. we go great together. we got voted the cutest couple last year, always laughed no matter what, helped eachother out, talked all the time...we are still like that. everytime i see her I cant help but to be happy, when im with her i feel better then what i am. When i hug her i remember all the good times we had and how great it was to be with her. when we set off a shit load of fireworks and dance to them going off and lighting up the sky..it didnt get better then that. when it was pouring rain outside and all we did all day was play in the rain, held eachother while the rain flippin drenched us...and every now and then we kissed...then to top it all off we just sat outside while the rain let up and the sun was coming back out just holding eachother. I still have very strong feelings for her and me and her talked about all of it and she still has them too. when i told her how i still felt she said "I feel the same too...gosh...why do you always have to be "talking" the somebody" (talking of course is talking to another girl bout datin and soon gonna date and what not) pretty much I still wanna be with her and she does too. but im datin this other girl...i like her, but thats it...i just like her...my feelings for her arnt as strong as they are for my best friend. but my girlfriend fell in love with me...we only been dating for 3 days now but we were "talking" for 5 weeks. she says she fell in love with me...so i dont know what to do. so what im asking isI have a girlfriend that i like, and i have a best friend (ex) that i still...well pretty much still love. what do i do?

reader, anonymous, writes (22 October 2009): You should definitely break up with your girlfriend (be nice and completely honest without being a total jerk about it) if you want to have anything with your best friend. If you don't and wait because you are trying to spare everyone's feelings, your best friend might think that you have stronger feelings for your girlfriend than her and move on... If you truly care about your best friend and want some kind of future with her besides just friendship, you won't wait too much longer. Good luck.

So are you confused? Because it seems like your best friend is the one you clearly want to be with. Why don't you break up with your girlfriend , but do it the right way, dont be a jerk. your young follow your heart.
