first of all yes it is a possibility you may be pregnant you need to take a test asap to rule this out secondly have you been ill or taking antiibiotics recently as these can intefere wiith the pill and reduce protection good luck

reader, anonymous, writes (12 March 2007): hey, first, its very very unlikely that you are pregnant. Was it an isolated thing that u felt sick and light headed, or does it happen every day? If it was a once only thing... dont worry. That is much more likey to be a little virus, a hangover, or even your pill making you feel funny, if you havent been on it that long. If you do miss your period, take a test and see what it says, but i wouldnt dwell on this at all... I mean, its something like 1 in 100,000 women get pregnant per year on the pill (assuming you havent missed any pills)

 If you're having sex, whether you use the pill, condoms or whatever there's always a tiny chance you could be pregnant but it is very unlikely. Keep taking your pill but if you don't have a period take a test. If it's positive then stop taing your pill and take advice from your doctor but until then try not to worry since that could delay a period that would naturally have come otherwise.
