Christmas present for my boyfriend?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I know it's still kind of early but, I'm really looking forward to Christmas and I have money now and I know if I don't start buying now, then I'm going to go broke. I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years now, and I want to get him something special or something really nice for Christmas this year. I'm on a budget, I only have around 50 dollars that I can spend. I've looked everywhere and thought about everything and I can't think of anything! The first year I got him a t-shirt and hat with his fav. football team's logo on them and last year I bought him a watch, a hat and a couple simple things. His favorite things are nascar, wrestling, football, and basketball. I want to make this gift something a little more special/expensive and get something a little bigger/nicer? Any ideas are helpful!

aunt honesty agony auntWell maybe get him tickets to go and see his favorite football or basketball team, that way you could go with him and share the experience with him, or maybe even a wrestling match.

hii...

for my ex-boyfriend's birthday, my cousin and i made him a tie blanket...which may sound a little corny (because honestly, i was kind of thinking the same thing when my cousin first suggested it to me), but turned out to be a really awesome idea. "it's the thought that counts," and doing something like this involves a whole lot of thought. plus, it can be bought for under $50. just go and find some fleece fabric that has something he likes on it--whether it's his favorite football team's logo or just his favorite color--and then find some more fabric that looks good against the first piece (i would suggest using a solid color). then, decide how big you want the blanket to be. you can find instructions on how to make the blanket by searching "how to make a tie blanket." it's fairly easy once you get the hang of it--just make sure that you have some really good, sharp scissors. it's a present that he can definitely get some good use out of, and since it's something that you made for him yourself, it will probably just be that much more special to him. plus, it'll be great for the two of you to snuggle under. ")

not sure how much you like the idea, but i hope i helped. ")

good luck, and God bless,
