writes:my friend is choosing between two boys. one she was with before, treated her really well, but then hooked up with someone else at a party when he was really drunk. the second boy spent a party grinding with an other girl and spent the next few days talking about how much he wanted to get with the other girl. also, he said that he was thinking about going for it and apologising later, which is what guy 1 did. this second guy also is complaining she's not doing stuff with him enough.the first guy recently admitted his feelings for my friend and said how he messed up and how sorry he was and wants my friend to leave the second guy.which guy should she choose?

reader, anonymous, writes (19 March 2011): I would say, NO. To both of them.Tell your friend there are better options out there. Don't waste her youth on guys that took her for granted, drunk or not. And the second guy is a jerk, enuff said.
