When I was 7 months pregnant I started to get this funny skin rash or something, it didn t itch but it would come and go.....always showing up on different parts of my body but mostly my back, neck, arms, under my chest, and its on my face alittle. I didn t think much of it because my skin is so sensitive to everything, then my hair started to fall out, I lost a lot of weight ( which is not good because i m already 2 skinny), Sometimes I feel nauseous and feverish, pain when breathing and shortness of breathe. Recently I ve been experiencing a little joint pains. I just brushed it off. I have such a high tolerance for pain so none of these things really bother me. Also during my pregnancy, one time my body went into some kind of convulsion attack for 10 or 15 minutes..... my boyfriend freaked out but I was very conscious and able to speak to him during the attack, so I told him don t worry I m ok and it will be over soon. My mother was telling me that if it is lupus then it must be in some sort of remission because of my vegetarian diet. Anyway after all this my boyfriend asked me if I had lupus because he knows someone who does. It never really crossed my mind until now. Reply to this Question Share |

Infidel7 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI m no longer pregnant and I don t want to be treated if I have lupus...there are millions of people living with lupus that are not treated by a doctor and do just fine. The reason I haven t been tested yet is because I need to renew both my insurance and my son, but only to cover for the testing. Treatment is not a necessity

It's not clear to me if you are still pregnant from the question. It seems to me that you need to get whatever you have diagnosed and treated sooner rather than later.
Are you delaying this because you don't want to have a pre-existing condition on record that will then not be covered by your new insurance? If so, get that insurance as fast as you can.
Only a doctor can diagnose you with any level of accuracy, so I'm providing this link as a reading guide for you. Do not rely on self-diagnosis, however, please do get the medical care you need as soon as possible.
