writes:I guess trust is a relationship question, so I'll give this a try. My husband goes to great lengths to hide a piece of paper with odd letters and numbers on it. I have no idea what it's all about. I do know that he gets up at 3:30 a.m. (3 hours before he has to leave for work) and gets on the internet. He goes across the hall to where his computer is. I've gotten up to ask him something and found the door locked. I've walked in at other times just to have him suddenly close windows and be sitting there looking at his desktop. He knows I don't mind him looking at porn, just doesn't bother me. He has no webcam. I'm going to try to copy and paste what's on these papers. Sometimes the numbers are scratched out, one after the other and replaced with the next number. If anyone has any idea what this is, I'd appreciate knowing. It's sort of driving me nuts. He takes it with him to work and hides it at home.  they are most likely dates. no numbers over 31 and the number 45 would be 4 and a 5 as it is sequential from the other page.
I love cryptic problems , but I cant work this one out save for them most likely being dates - the letters could be initials.
You are never going to know unless you ask. I doubt they are gambling - as I understand online gambling is now illegal in the U.S.
He is hiding this stuff from you and has taken money, so you are entirely warranted in asking him why he is being so secretive.

The 45 is most likely my own typing error. Probably should have been a 4, space, 5. I don't think he could even possibly be "physically" cheating, but as was suggested, maybe chatting. We are in our 50's and have been married less than a year. He was a bachelor for about 20 years after his first marriage. Dates? I never saw a 31. Also most never went past the low 20's before they started over again. I should also mention that he's taken $6K out of an annuity, a little at a time over the last year. Some of it was probably for Xmas and other stuff, but he's never mentioned it even though he knows I know about it. He's just very secretive about this paper and what he does online. It's not from work. Online gaming? I just don't know. I was just hoping someone would recognize the signifigance of that particular group of letters more than anything. Thanks for the suggestions.
