ok so im so confused because i have been having a burning feeling in my vagina for a while so i got a pee test done and said that i had a bladder infection so i got some meds for this.....so i have took all the meds and its doesnt burn when i pee anymore but it is still burning down there....what do u think this could be another thing i have a funny feeling in my bladder i think it is real hard to explain but its not comfortable.... i really dont think this is a std but any answers would be helpful thanks...only new meds i have been taking is birth control....

i am a r.n. if you were taking those birth control pills at the same time you were taking antibiotics then the meds only killed the symptoms it did not cure the infection the oestrogen and progesterone weakens the strenghth of the antibiotic so in reality it doesnt do any good . go get tested again only this time take the meds and lay off the pills untill you are done.

can birth control cause problems down below....also if can you have a bladder infection and a std if so if you got a pee test wouldnt it show up if you had a std

janniepeg agony auntJust trust the doctor. He probably gave you antibiotics and that stuff is strong. You should be feeling better in 3 days or less. Just be careful everytime you wipe.

you dont think its an STD? if you have have to think then you should go get tested. if it is not that then go to a doctor. try webmd for starters.
