My boyfriend and I has been together for 1 year plus. Our relationship has been going fine until couple months ago. For the past couple of he seem to not want to go out with me or spend time with me anymore...He always has an excuse...I know he is busy but he finds time to hang with his friends. For example, my birthday was last week, yes he had to work, I asked him if i can spend the rest of my birthday with him, he said he's tired and we will spend some time this weekend. This weekend come; Friday he lime with his friends, Saturday the same thing and now Sunday, its the same thing...I really need to know whats going on and what i should do. I feel lost

A reader, anonymous, writes (21 July 2011):

He's making promises he isn't keeping, namely spending any time with you, his girlfriend.

You definitely need to talk to him about it and find out what's going on with him. It could be that he's losing interest in your relationship, and he thinks this is the easy way: to let you down slowly. It could be something completely different, though.

You need an open line of communication -- tell him it's very important that you two have time together to talk.
