reader, anonymous, writes (2 March 2007): I think women are attracted to a man who has certain characteristics that they are looking for in a man, if that becomes type then I guess the answer would be yes. It does not mean that she is shallow, it means she knows what characteristics of character and personality make her happy and contribute to her having loving feelings, which is what everyone wants in the first place.
I think men are not looking for something half decent except when you are referring to finding a girl that will have sex with them. Men want an emotional connection as well.
It seems that your question or questions are focusing on the superficial art of attraction, this is really only the first steps to a real relationship, and rarely does attraction lead to love and a relationship, that requires much more than an intial attraction, so what is the bigger question...how do I find and keep a love relationship?
Dig a little deeper if you want to find a girlfriend, stay here in the wading pool if you are just looking for sexual conquests.

 Not everyone is the same,yes fair enough some woman do have types but so do men. Some woman go for anything and so do some men.
I dont have a sertain type,its about personallity and someone makes me laugh,but there are people who are shallow and only go for people who are (FIT) and if you dont fit the bill you just wont do. Just dont tar everyone with the same brush,cus we are all made different flower. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
