writes:I went on my first date with a guy. I asked him if he's married and he said no. He is semi-famous and has all his life online basically. I did some research and found out that it's possible he has a girlfriend or wife or some sort. On her IG, which is public, she has tons pictures with him, even recent ones from Thanksgiving. They live by the beach, so they have tons of pictures in the sand, in the water, writing stuff in the sand, etc. However, I found a picture that's recent: A picture of a broken heart drawn in the sand... But what is most confusing is that she has a couple photos that she took looking out from their home's balcony into the sea. So....I'm assuming they're still together if she's taking pictures from inside the home? I have no clue. Yet, why would she post the broken heart? To make it even more confusing, they have an instagram for their family dog, and underneath in the comments for the broken heart picture, the dog instagram commented, "I love you mommmy," which im assuming is the guy I'm dating or else why would anyone take the time to comment on their own photo from their dog's instagram? I'm so thrown off...I really liked him and wanted to keep seeing him but am not sure if he's single.

 Ask him, only he knows the truth. In fairness though after one date this sounds like its already a lot of drama. Am guessing that you had your suspition and you don't do all this detective work with everyone you meet. If you feel that he is lying it might be best just to not go on a second date.

I think you need to be straight with him and just ask him you wont know otherwise.
He clearly is showing odd behaviour that makes you suspicious of him.
You need to talk to him just find a time that's right and find out from him its the only way and its better for you then being messed about.

You were too specific. You should have asked if he was with anyone, had a I refried or SO? He wasn't 'techincally'lying but yeah he has someone else.
Or, he has very very recently broken up from a serious relationship.
Either way steer well clear. Luckily he's pretty stupid, so you'll know when he's lying.
