My neighbors husband is a T-shirt addict. Doubt there is any support groups out there for these men...
Anyways, you can ask him to donate the t-shirts he no longer wears (or forgets about because he has too many) to Goodwill, Salvation, or whatever resale shop in your area. He'll be doing the community some good and freeing up space for you in the closet.
If he can't part with his precious white tees, then purchase those space bags so you can make room for your clothes. They're basically heavy duty vinyl bags that you can pack in tops, then you suck the air out of them and store. They keep out moisture, dirt, and bugs, so his prized tees will be protected.

I have a twenty-two year old son who is also a T-shirt addict. Plus a husband with a golf shirt addiction. So I understand where you are coming from :-)
