However, one concern that I have is that I am a virgin (which means it cannot be a STD) and I have TONS of ingrown hairs on my penis shaft and base. I tried removing some but it is very painfull and doesn't always work. Unfortunately, I have no health insurance and cannot see a doctor about it. So, my question is, Is there any home remedies to remove ingrown penis hairs? More importantly do you think my girlfriend would consider me dirty or diseased if she sees them?

Scars do fade with time, but it will save you a lot of stress. just leave it, really. she won't even notice - if you can exfoliate and it isn't painful, you could try that with a gentle exfoliating scrub. but really, no one notices.

ingrowing hair is a normal thing for guys and girls. girls can get it in their armpits too. so don't worry about your girlfriend thinking that it is an STD.
you could try and remove the hairs one by one or maybe talk to your doctor, there are various lazer treatments out there, as well as home ones. but i wouldn't panic about it.

Ingrowth hair is a pain, what I do is take a tweezer and try to remove them one by one. In that area, it takes no time to heal.
I don't believe your girlfriend will think it's STD, we all experienced ingrowth hair in our lives. (What ever you shave, there's a chance that there's ingrowth hair)
Hope this help.
