We feel really comfortable with each other at work and have exchanged very personal details, laugh, joke and even have cried through some bad times, yet he seems afraid of any more with me at a personal rather than professional level, even though he openly says he wants a relationship with someone new in the near future and is visiting dating sites. I am so confused and disappointed when I feel so much for him. Even getting up the courage to telling him seems to have made no difference. Are there any guys out there who could give me some insight into his behaviour?

he may see you as a very close friend, and wants to keep it that way. It does seem weird that he does'nt answer your e-mails, but that may be his way of keeping a plutonic distance between the two of you. Have you told him truly how you feel about him? What was his reaction?
