Most times during the day when its a normal temperature I can barely feel my nipples at all, and my left is always softer than my right. I assume theres nothing I can do about this, but I just wanted to know if this is normal and/or common? Thanks in advance, any answers are much appreciated :)

of course your nipples are hard when it's cold... where do you think the expression it's NIPPY out came from? (I don't know if that's true or not but it makes great sense to me)
we call it raisins on our cookies and it's NORMAL for your nipples to be erect when cold and it's NORMAL for your breasts to be different sizes and it's NORMAL for one nipple to be more prominent than the other.
YOU ARE OUTRAGEOUSLY NORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
