I went to see a councellor when I got divorced and managed to get over a 22 year marriage so I know that talking does work.
take care and good luck x

The second one I was on was Lexapro. Antidepressants just delay sadness. It comes back if you are still mourning a particular event. When I was on antidepressants I felt like I could do anything and still love myself? I felt like most of life was what you made it, and that was an usual feeling for me, because I usually didn't feel that way. When I got off the AD's I felt sadness over changing my mind about losing my virginity before marriage, etc.
I agree with the poster above, heartbreak is normal. Antidepressants are usually prescribed if the person is suicidal. Are you suicidal?
