writes: hey, i know this probably isnt the right place to be asking this question but im just curious. im on the injection, have been on it for like a year now. but just recetly ive been getting pains which feel like period pains.im not due to go and get my next injection for about another month.. why am i getting these pains?

They could but they would not be in the pelvic region. If it feels like period cramps then more than likely not.

I am on the shot and have been for four years. That happens to me all the time even when my shot is no where near due. If you are truly worried then talk to your shot provider and see what they say.

reader, anonymous, writes (29 January 2009): hey first off. no i am not the same girl with the strange lumpssecondly.. no i havent had unprotected sex recently. my boyfriends in the navy and so i havent seen him in a oouple of months.. when i say these pains.. you know when u get a stich,, n it just hurts but just for a cuple of minuites and then goes. thats what its like.. it will just be a crap. last a min or so n then doesnt happen again for a cuple of days

I think you should go and get yourself checked up hun.
Better safe than sorry and if you are having pain and clot type things then it's much better safe than sorry.

this is a personal question but have you recently had unprotected sex? although it is a slim chance, you can still get pregnant on the injection and that is alway someting you might want to check - you may just be getting normal symptoms of a general period even without the actual menstruation - the pill affects many woman in many different ways. If you are in a lot of pain or really worried, you really should talk to your GP to determine what is going on in there - you may well have some kind of water infection or something, you just don't know unless you seek some proper medical advice.
