Question - (17 March 2016) 2 Answers - (Newest, 21 March 2016)
A male United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Has anybody got any good stories of how they turned their life around at a later stage in life ?

I am 28 and well for the past 8 years I have done nothing with my life . As well I have hated life for so long and not thought I can get any where . Also with the idea of life pretty much ends at 30 I have not been any use to myself .

I have not had in relationship in any sense for 6 years now ( I generally forget ) and that kills me a bit as this is the age well you have fun but I have missed it .

I have tried doing things to keep me going ie the Gym but when I go I have this nagging thought saying.. its too late for this now ! IF only you would of carried on going the gym .. etc

So any positive stories to make me think wow!! I can do that!

thank you

I am the OP .

Thanks for giving me a answer Nora . Unfortunately I have been asking myself these questions for 3 years now and I have never got anywhere . And I do not have any talents or passions to actually explore well . I will see what happens . but thanks again for taking the time to answer .

A female reader, NORA B Ireland +, writes (17 March 2016):

At the young age of 28,it is good that you are asking questions .Its only when we ask questions we can find some answers within.Remember Life in its self is a gift,as to how we live it is a choice. We can choose to be positive or negative. Most of us get bored,fed-up at times, but it does not mean that is the end of living.Would you consider joining groups.for example tennis, writers groups or any groups that would bring you in contact with both males/females.Its never to late to start a fresh and each morning that we wake,is a chance for a fresh -start.Have you some close friends or family, that you could discuss these feelings with or would you consider having a chat with a counsellor.Remember you write your own story of life..Maybe the name of that story could be-I CAN DO THAT-the choice is yours Kind regards.NORA B.
