Need some ideas and advice!! By girlfriends birthday is coming up and it's a big one. She'll be 30! I want to get her something special but have no idea what! We are already planning to go on a little glamping holiday and will have a nice dinner whilst on holiday somewhere but I want to give her something special too. She's not massive on jewellery other than a few little pieces I've bought her over the years which she wears on special occasions. I bought her a silver necklace last valentines day and she has an assortment of bracelets I've given her too. She's not really a ring person and has said the only ring she'll problably ever wear is her engagement and wedding ring. So rings are out. I've thought about a watch but she works a manual job and is scared if she had an expensive one it'd get scratched. Any ideas?! Something special that will last! I am usually really good with gift giving but I am truly stumped.

Abella agony auntFor going out in the evening you could purchase her a stunning evening bag. Either contemporary or vintage. There are an amazing array that I have seen on line.

For unique gifts go on to etsy.com

I would think that you do know her taste.

You could look at the site together to discover a little more about each other's taste.

But if you are unsure and need more validation from her then get her to choose her 'treasury' of her favourite items when she registers on the site.

Lots of unique handmade gifts on etsy.com

And I have found most of the sellers great and prompt..
