writes: i'm with an older man i think the world of him, but he is so depressed. one day he is all over me he loves me and thinks the world of me,then others he is so quiet and ignores me.my confidence is so low he never says i look nice, there is a 24 yr age gap, he has kids and was married. he says i'm the one for him i just dont no how to cheer him up we been through so much i just wish he would appreciate me more please any advice would be great !

 Depression is due to a chemical imbalance in the brain that can be treated through antidepressants. However, different people respond well to different types of antidepressants and it is trial and error really. He must see a doctor and get some professional help.

 If he is suffering from depression,then he really needs to see a doctor.Sometimes depression can go on its own but other times it does'nt so thats when medication will help....he does'nt have to be on tablets forever but if you can find the route to his sadness then your half way there to sorting it out.Good luck.
