I have been on anti-depressants for a long time of my life and they have never done me much good, and recently after a relationship break up (4 weeks ago) i decided to come off them slowly and try and get hold of my anxiety another way through teaching myself alternative methods, this has worked well so far and I am slowly rebuilding my relationship with my ex.However last night after seeing him i returned home to spend the whole night worrying about the differences between him in person and through texts/instant messaging. I knew fine well this was just because we have both agreed to take it slow but i continued to worry anyway, it was only this morning when I asked him outright and he answered me in the way i expected my anxiety stops. My methods have worked in other situations (mainly using congitive behaviour therapy techniques. but it didnt do anything for me last night and it really disheartened me that i ended up in that state again. Does anyone have any suggestions in those situations. A lot of my anxiety is related to relationships with people rather than other things/ exams etc.thanks
