Hi, I'm back. I posted "I am not comfortable with the attention I'm getting from my husband's father!” on 31st May 2006 and 12th June 2006.

Thank God, after what I posted on the 12th June 2006, so far my father in-law has stopped harassing me and I always keep myself together with the crowd.

My considerations of not telling my hubby yet are:-

• because my father in-law has never had such reputation within the family;

• I was afraid that if I were to tell my hubby about what happened, my father in-law might deny it and put the blame on me instead;

• I have good relationship with all members of my hubby’s family and being a respected person within the family, I do not want to spoil it wherever possible.

However, I did some findings on my father in-law during his service with the government. He does have such reputation at work and I guess it was not known by the family.

Anyhow, I am always keeping myself in the safe pace ever since and I hope and pray there won’t be any more harassment from him in future.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Phoebe, Aunt Audrey, Angel Ron, Dr. Pete, Yos, Dr. Psych, Auntie Claire, Charmedone, Wendyg and all others for all the GREAT advises/opinions. And if he does it again, I know what to do….. all your advises will get to work and I don’t feel scare/ worry anymore. It’s all your advises and opinions that make me strong and confident. THANKS everyone!

Hey, thanks for the update, it's always nice when someone takes the trouble and time to write back with their progress.

It sounds like you thought hard about the decisions you chose and well-thought over decisions usually work out to be the right ones, good luck for the future :)
