writes:I need to know if I am in love with this guy I have known since first grade. he’s also my best guy friend which makes this so much harder. my friends say they think I am. but I don’t feel like I did the first time I was in love, I mean its the same over-whelming feeling but it doesn’t feel the same (I am not sure how to explain it...its hard).I have moved on sense I first started liking him and same for him but it was only because he moved away. now he’s back and were falling for each other again :)1. he is always on my mind2. I have stayed up all night just thinking about him3. I cant stop smiling when he text or call me4. when he hugs me or holds my hand its like no one else matters5. I have kicked 3 other girls asses because they tried to get with him6. I cant stop talking or thinking about him7. he is the only reason I am in Spanish class8. I am failing Spanish class because I cant pay attention9. I find myself drawing hearts and smiles on my papers when I daydream about him10. this list could go on forever if I don’t stop myselfwhat do you think, in love or lust?Oh and I don’t believe age matters but I am 14 and he’s 15. Both in 8th grade.

reader, anonymous, writes (17 December 2008): I dont think age matters as well, love is love theres no age restriction. You are definitely lusting for him but remember thats not a bad thing! By the sounds of things he "lust" you too! Some people say you should'nt date your friends and Id be a hypocrite to say that. I'l tell you what I tell everyone in this situation, to just keep in mind if it does'nt work out it most probably would ruin your friendship. Although in this case Id say go for it! Because you've always liked him more than a friend its gonna drive you crazy if you dont tell him how you feel! I bet he feels the same! Awwww!All the best xxp.s let us no how it goes if you do. :)
