My bf has been unwell, sent me a message saying the Dr told him to stay home and rest for a couple of days, so I sent him a message saying that if he needs anything, just let me know. He replied saying "You're a big part of my life. Thanks for being so lovely. I'll manage. Text you later. Lots of kisses." We've been together 4 months. Why would he write the thing about me being a big part of his life-what does that mean??? Also, do you think there's anything in what he said that indicates that I was being somehow a little smothering?? Or am I reading too much into this? Thanks :)

reader, anonymous, writes (5 January 2011): haha its only natural to overthink things, especially with someone you really care for. and in this case you are most certainly overthinking. if you are really that worried then maybe contact him again, but judging by his message i think the same as the previous comment, he just wants to tell you thanks for the offer but hell copeon his own. :)

 You're reading WAY too much into it. All he's saying is you're important to him and he appreciates the offer, but will be fine.
