During the week we talk on the phone and he may pop over for dinner on occasion. We live in the same town. I want to see him more, he thinks there is not a problem with how often we are together. I feel neglected, he thinks I'm needy. I'm ready to break it off because I tell him how much I miss him and I feel ignored. He thinks I'm over reacting. What do you think? It sounds like you just want different things from relationships.
Some couples want to be with each other 24/7, and some are happy to just meet on the weekends and have lots of their own space.
The fact he's not willing to compromise and disregards your feelings though is not a good sign.
Tell him you want a guy who can be with you more and if he still refuses to compromise then I think you will have to think about finding someone else.
Good Luck!! xx
