But there are lots of condoms..thin, thick, textured, pouchy, coloured, latex, polyurethane etc. Will the shop sell ANY pack of condoms to me or am I only allowed to buy a pack of the plain, ordinary ones at my age?? Because the other sorts might be counted as sex toys??

In the United States, or at least in California where I live. There is no age to buy condoms, you can go buy the jumbo pack of condoms and the clerk won't care.

You can buy condoms at any age in Britain. (I assume you're from Britain, from your flag.) In fact, it is illegal for them to refuse to sell you condoms. As for what to get? Don't get fancy. A thin latex condom will do just fine.
