We've had our share of tough times but have conquered them. There are still triggers that, if said or done, my heart stops and I start to feel needlessly anxious (yes, the tough times were very ***tough***)...we're both trying to pull through it.After two years, would you be ashamed to introduce your significant other to your family? I am yet to meet his parents in Italy in person... his sister-in-law added me as a friend on facebook and after I added her, his immediate (within 1 second) response was "do not add her" when I said that I already had, he said "okay then I will tell her to delete you". Am I being too sensitive?

Its true. Thus he doesnt want hi family to meet you because they wont accept you. Thats 1 theory. The other is that he doesnt want to acknowledge you as his partner, either way it is a worry and you need to fin out what is going on
