A few drinks is daily lately so in the mornings and afternoons she seems distant; makes me uncomfortable. How can I bring up that I need her to stop drinking so much so our passion can seem more real to me? Reply to this Question Share |

My wife is normally affectionate, but she is more so after a couple glasses of wine. She does that once every week or 2 and only has a small glass of wine with daily dinner most days. Drinking too much every day is a problem that needs to be addressed.

I think you should bring up the drink thing as a health / drinking problem thing.
If she is drinking every day then she may have a problem and she could be damaging her health.
Ask her why she wants to get drunk. Why does she want to escape from reality?
If she opens up about why she doesn't like being sober then you may find out why she doesn't show much affection.
One question for you to think about...
Do you give her enough affection when she is sober? Do you ever just give her little hugs and kisses just because you can?
Good Luck!! xx
