I've decided to go on a diet so i can be thin for my holiday in 5 months time which i am going on with my boyfriend.

I want to look amazing in my bikini but the thing is i'm a size 16 and have horrible scars on my belly.

Are there any good diets/exercises i could do to look better for this holiday?

Also is there anyway i can make these scars look less obvious?

Thanks

I agree.

Your BF will like you being thinner on this holiday, but he will like you a lot more if you're thinner permanently.

Trust me, I've seen and dealt with a lot of this stuff. The only kind of weight loss that lasts permanently and doesn't end up wreaking havoc on the person (even when it works) is the kind of weight loss that's done very, very gradually.

Don't try to hit a target weight on a target date any time soon. Just say to yourself, "I'm gonna change my life habits as best I can in a SUSTAINABLE way." Do what is better for your body & metabolism and just let the scale numbers fall where they may over the next few months. Muscle gain can hide weight loss too, which is yet another reason not to get too focused on the scale digits. Your clothes getting looser will do just fine to alert you when you're making progress.
