reader, anonymous, writes (24 April 2009): Actually I was pregnant and bled twice in a month too. The baby was alive and doing well, and I was absolutely perplexed. The blood was just like a period. Then the ultrasound showed there was a heartbeat and little embryo. I explained the bleeding and the doctor said it is perfectly normal and it is "old blood". I was told it is common especially if you missed a period before getting pregnant. It was really wild. There was a full on healthy baby in there and I was bleeding exactly like a period. All confirmed by professionals.

reader, anonymous, writes (24 April 2009): If you have a cycle of 28 days or even less, then you might have two periods in a month especially if one is very early on and the other is right at the end of the month.

I'm sorry to say but if you have your period you are not pregnant.
When you are pregnant the tissue linning in your womb builds up to support a baby in devloping inside of you but if your egg isn't fertilized then the tissue building up isn't used and that what your period is where the linning comes out through your vagina. The egg also comes out with it.
Periods can be irregular until you have a child. My mum told me that her periods only became regular after her second child so theres nothing to worry about.
