JsaiyaSavannah is verified as being by the original poster of the questionYes, we are both religious, baptist Christians. And he does work, that is a great way to spark conversation, and also, how can I talk to him about myslef without comming off as "woe is me". You know what I mean. I want him to learn more about me, butif I say one thing....he ends up giving me a whole personal story than a bible story, than another personal story to follow. But I want to kind of surround the conversation about me a luittle more this time around. ALSO, a big issue I have is, we don't talk at night, how can I discuss this issue without seeming like a "nagger".

It opens the conversation. then you can expand . For example,if he works, instead of did you go to work today, say, what happened at work today?Align this to his work and hobbies, ie: sports, Tell me what the team did today, how did they do? Then you can respond to his answer. one question, why the bible are you both religious? No probs if you are but maybe he likes to talk about the bible.
