Well for some reason over the past three months all I have done is gain weight! This is odd to me because I have maintained my same weight for 5 years. I have gained 15 pounds and I actually am showing a belly! I'm so mad! My bf asked if I could possibly be pregnant and I have taken a test and it showed negative. Plus i'm on birth control pills, yah my period hasn't shown in awhile, but i've read that's normal with birth control. I have also had other symptoms that are out of the norm, like I feel exhausted all the time, i've had to switch to eating every three hours because if i eat too much i get horrible heart burn, and I seem to be a little constipated. So what could it be? I'm kinda embarrased to go to the doc, because I'm usaully in "excellent" health when I do my once a year check-up. I do plan on going in this coming week if i don't see a change, I'm mostly worried that it may be a huge tumor or something! Any ideas on what it could possibly be?

Good luck.

I'm making an assumption based on your info and saying that the last three months have been stressful. It sounds like you have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) which is caused by stress. Chances are you are also getting acid reflux (the heart burn and having to eat smaller meals more often) which is also caused by stress. The way the body works is you take in food and then get rid of it and if you are constipated you are going to gain weight. Try to destress some, eat more fiber to help with the constipation, and see your doctor to make for certain that nothing else is wrong and that you truly aren't pregnant. Good Luck!

Go see a doctor. There really isn't much else any of us could suggest since we can't run tests or x-rays.
Don't be embarrassed. If you're such a health-nut then you will actually be able to help your doctor by giving her the run down on your symptoms and lifestyle, which can help determine what might be causing this.
It really could be anything from a glandular issue to pregnancy. Lots of things have these symptoms. Go see a doctor to help put your mind at ease. Keep us posted! :-)

If you don't mind me asking how old are you? How about taking metabolism sups. I wouldn't recommend diet pills to anyone.
